Our Cellar Team is essential to crafting everything from our iconic Switchback Ale to boundary-pushing brews like the Flynn on Fire Smoked Beer Series and our new Switchback N.A. line. About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Experienced Cellarman to join our dedicated, employee-owned team. This full-time position plays a key role in our brewery operations, with responsibilities including, but not limited to, centrifuge operation, dry hopping, CIP/COP procedures, yeast management, and fermentation and natural carbonation monitoring.

We’re particularly interested in candidates with experience commissioning new equipment and collaborating on new procedure development, as we continue to expand and modernize our facility. With this new equipment on the way, including the installation of a new centrifuge and cellar expansion, this is a unique opportunity to join a progressive, quality-driven brewery committed to continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

·       Operate and optimize centrifuge equipment

·       Commissioning new cellar equipment

·       Perform tank-to-tank transfers with precision

·       Execute dry hopping and yeast management

·       Adhere to QA/QC cellar protocols

·       CIP/COP fermenters and CIP/SIP bright tanks

·       Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Requirements

·       5+ years of professional cellaring experience

·       High School Diploma or GED required; formal brewing education a plus

·       Strong attention to detail, time management, and multitasking skills

·       Ability to work independently and follow SOP’s

·       Strong sense of cleanliness

·       Proficient with lab tools and understanding of fermentation science

·       Excellent communication, teamwork, and recordkeeping abilities

·       Committed to continuous improvement, safety, and product quality

Physical Requirements

·       Stand/walk for 8+ hours/day

·       Regularly lift 55 lb. grain bags and 44 lb. hop boxes

·       Maneuver full kegs

·       Climb stairs, use ladders, drag hoses, and operate tri-clamps daily

Preferred Qualifications

·       Experience operating Alfa Laval Brew 80 and/or GEA Centrifuge Systems

·       Hands-on experience with commissioning new cellaring equipment

·       Degree or certification in brewing or fermentation science

·       Knowledge of centrifuge optimization, filtration, and QA/QC procedures

JOB TITLE: FULL TIME Production Assistant.

We’re looking for a full-time Production Assistant to join the team! This role mainly involves order fulfillment and packaging, but there’s also a chance to jump into other parts of brewery operations as needed.
